Warranty

This Limited Warranty specifies the limited terms and conditions on warranty for the sale by NANOLUX of the Products listed below in Table 1. Only the original purchaser that has purchased Products directly from NANOLUX (“Customer”) can derive any rights from this Limited Warranty.

For any returns/ warranty claim for a unit not purchased directly with NANOLUX manufacturers, please contact the affiliates/ authorized resellers/ authorized distributors/ or country distributors/ store or retailer, where the product was purchased.

 

The Warranty period starts from the purchase date. If this information is not available, then the manufactured date will be used instead. Please keep your invoice / proof of purchase so that all warranty services are insured.

 

LED & Ballast Warranty

To determine if a product is within its warranty period please follow the steps below, in order;

Please be sure that the unit is within its warranty period. A purchase receipt or other proof of purchase is best.

If proof of purchase is not available then the serial number of the unit will indicate the year and month of manufacture. E.g;

 

 

If the Unit you are assessing does not have the shown serial number format, it is NOT within the warranty period.

Lamp Warranty

 

On each NANOLUX lamp, you can find the production time code, (e.g. 533 in the picture), means this lamp was produced on Week 33th of 2015.

This way you can see the manufacturer date and send you a replacement if the bulb is under the manufacturer warranty.

 

Subject to the Terms and Conditions and this Limited Warranty, NANOLUX warrants to Customer that Products will be free from Defects for the warranty period(s) specified below in Table 1. For the purpose of this Limited Warranty, a “Defect” means that a Product has a defect in material or workmanship which causes the Product to fail to operate in accordance with the specifications provided by NANOLUX.

 

If the light has been tampered with or it is found that the damage is caused by the customer, there will be a repair fee associated with the return of your product. If the warranty seal is broken without our consent, your warranty becomes null and void. If damage has been caused by abnormal use, neglect (such as water damage), wrong input voltage, dropping or breaking the light, disassembling of the light, etc, the warranty is void. NANOLUX reserves the right to refuse warranty repair or replacement services .

 

Products are installed in applications in which ambient conditions are within the range of intended operating conditions.

NANOLUX will have no obligations under this Limited Warranty if the Customer is in breach of under Terms and Conditions.

 

In order to be entitled to make a valid claim under this Limited Warranty, Customers shall promptly notify NANOLUX in writing of any alleged Defective Product prior to expiration of the Warranty Period for such Product. Further, this Limited Warranty is subject to the following conditions:

 

Customer shall make claims under this Limited Warranty to NANOLUX promptly and not later than thirty (30) days after discovery, and make available to NANOLUX (or representatives) adequate records of operating history for the Product, at minimum the following information:

 

Name and/ or type number of the Product;

Details of the (alleged) Defect, including the number and percentage of failures,

The Order information details of application, location, actual burning hours and number of switching cycles.

If it's necessary , customer shall give a NANOLUX representative on-site access to the Product for which Customer invokes this Limited Warranty, and, on request, send any alleged Defective Product to NANOLUX for analysis within 10 working days.

 

The obligations of NANOLUX under this Limited Warranty will be limited, at the option of NANOLUX, to within a reasonable time, either repair or provide a new/ refurbished replacement product for the Defective Product.

 

Repairs, replacements or remedies will not extend or renew the applicable Warranty Period.

 

NANOLUX is entitled at its option to replace the Defective Product covered by warranty with a product that has minor deviations in design and/ or specifications which do not affect the functionality of the Product.

 

NANOLUX may charge Customers for the reasonable costs by the returned Product that are found not to be a Defective, including freight charges, testing and handling costs.

NANOLUX

 

NANOLUX will have no obligations under this Limited Warranty if the alleged Defect is found to have occurred as a result of Force Majeure event. “Force Majeure” means any circumstances or occurrences beyond the reasonable control of NANOLUX, whether or not foreseeable at the time of concluding the agreement for the sale of the Products, as a result of which NANOLUX cannot reasonably perform or execute its obligations, including, without limitation, acts of God, natural catastrophes including earthquake, lightning, hurricane, typhoon, flooding or volcanic activities or extreme weather conditions, strikes, lock-outs, war, terrorism, political situation, civil unrest, riots, sabotage, vandalism, industry-wide shortages, breakdown of plant or machinery, fault or loss of electricity supply, cyber-attacks and hacking.

 

Crop protection products, cleaning agents and/ or other chemicals (e.g., pesticides, fungicides and insecticides) (“Agents”) can only be used in accordance with the NANOLUX Product manual or design guide and with guidelines prescribed by the supplier(s) of such Agents. NANOLUX will have no obligations under this Limited Warranty if the alleged Defect is found to have occurred as a result of a breach of this obligation.

(2) A detailed description of the issue.

(3) Photos of all labels on the original box, must include Series Number to approve warranty time.
